Appointments on the day

We run an on the day appointment service as this has been found to be the most effective way to manage our availability.  Please contact the surgery in the morning from 8am on the day that you would like to see or speak to a GP or other healthcare professional. Should we be unable to book you in for that day, we will offer for you to use our online e-consult system to request a routine appointment which will be booked for a future date after your request has been triaged by our team.

When phoning through to the surgery, we offer a free call back option on our telephone system to avoid our patients having to wait on the phone. This will hold your queue position so you do not lose your place.

For routine (not urgent) requests, if you prefer not to phone and would like to use our online econsult service to request an appointment, please use this link below.

Our receptionists follow strict protocols set out by the doctors and you may be offered a more appropriate service such as a physiotherapist, advanced nurse practitioner or pharmacy referral, depending on your condition.

If your problem is urgent, we may refer this for the attention of the duty doctor who will decide on appropriate action to be taken.

To make sure you are given the correct type of appointment our reception staff will ask you the reason for the appointment. This is so that we can ensure you are seen by the right person at the right time and the information can be passed onto the clinician so they are better prepared for your appointment.
